Welcome to The KIM Project website
KIM (an acronym for Kindness In Mind) is a Flintshire based charity that provides groupwork opportunities to women who experience mental health concerns and mental illness. We run three programmes per year (autumn, winter, spring) with a variety of groups and activities throughout the summer and school holidays. (For further information see leaflets link for current newsletter).
Things to look forward to:
KIM's (Kindness In Mind)
Mental Health and Wellbeing Information and Networking Event.
Thursday 30th October 2008, 12.30-3pm at Flint Pavilion.
At KIM's recent Consultation Day it was established how important information and communication are to all concerned with mental health and well being.
KIM would therefore like to present an opportunity to bring together the many different types of service and support available in Flintshire.
This open event will consist of a large variety of displays and representatives from different organisations who will be on hand to answer questions.
Everyone is welcome to browse or offer information!
Light refreshments will be available.
For further details or to book a stand please ring KIM on 01352 755333.
Drop-ins
There will be two drop-in's running during school holidays. These will be in Deeside and Mold on Wednesday mornings and Friday afternoons respectively. There will be a variety of activities taking place, for example, card making, bead work, crochet, gentle keep fit and relaxation, quizzes, cookery sessions and lots of other friendly activities.
